At Bayside Multisport we run the regular training sessions listed below. We also run training camps, open water swimming and other social/family events from time to time. Details of these events are posted on this site and on our Facebook page.
Triathlon Squad Training
Adult – Saturdays 6.00am at Manly Pool.
Adult squad training is a brick set, consisting of a mixture of swim, bike and run. It is suitable for all levels from beginner to experienced and for people training for all distances. The set varies from week to week, and is focussed around races members may be training for.
Members are to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to sign in, set up etc. Duration of the set is approximately two hours. Cost: $10, plus pool entry.
Junior – Saturdays 8.00 am at Manly Pool. Cost: $10, plus pool entry.
Note: On the third Saturday of each month we have junior cycling skills at 3.00 pm at Murarrie Recreation Reserve. There is no morning squad on this day.
Adult – Tuesday morning at 5.30am and Wednesday evening at 6.00pm (both sessions commence from Manly pool).
Run squad is suitable for all levels and consists of a mixture of running types and techniques. All levels are catered for. This is a superb session for building speed and strength and improving your overall running fitness.
All runners are to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time to sign in etc. Duration of the set is one hour. Cost: $6
Junior – Tuesday afternoon at 4.30 pm on the Upper Esplanade, Wynnum. This is a fun session with running drills and skills. Cost: $5.
Adult – for up to date information regarding Sunday morning rides please refer to the Club Facebook page. Typically we have a ride on Sunday mornings, starting at the Manly Pool from 5.30 am (6.00 am, 1 May to 31 August).
Junior – we have bike skills at 3.00 pm at Murarrie Recreation Reserve on the third Saturday of each month. This is instead of the morning session. Cost: $10.
